    Hurricane Harvey Donations

    STFD#3 would like to thank Bayou Adventure Bait & Kayak Store for being a legitimate collection point in Lacombe for donations of Hurricane Harvey relief supplies. Donations are being accepted throughout this Labor Day weekend (Friday-Monday) and will continue for some time. The first of several deliveries to Texas will be next Tuesday after Labor Day. Please bring your donations to Lake Rd. & Hwy. 190 at Bayou Adventure. All types of cleaning supplies and personal hygiene

    Firefighter/Captain/Paramedic Keith Kern is the recipient of the 2017 Firefighter of the Year award presented by the Lacombe VFW Post 8290 on Memorial Day. Keith Kern has been a Firefighter with St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 3 in Lacombe since February 1989. Captain Kern is on his 28th year with the department. Over the years, Captain Kern has advanced his career by becoming credentialed in Fire and EMS such as Paramedic, Driver/Operator, Hazardous Materials, and F

    St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 3 would like to recognize and honor Firefighter John Bruce Brannon for his service to the fire district and to the town of Lacombe. Commonly known as Bruce, Mr. Brannon started as a volunteer with the former Lacombe Volunteer Fire Department 20 years ago. Mr. Brannon is a long-time resident of Lacombe and a U.S. Marine. As Mr. Brannon retires from his service as a Volunteer / Reservist, we would like to congratulate and thank Mr.
